What Happened

Authorities have information on a crash at State Hwy 6 in College Station, TX on December 9th, 2023.  Police say the incident happened around 1:07 a.m. According to investigators, Mazda 6 operated by a 25-year-old College Station man was northbound on Hwy 6 before allegedly running a red light at the Holleman Dr intersection. Reports say the vehicle struck a Toyota Camry, operated by 54-year-old Dragan Aleksic, at the intersection. The collision is said to have seriously injured Aleksic and two passengers. The College Station man had less serious injuries, according to police, who recommended and/or issued a Driving While Intoxicated charge against the man. Additional information was not available.
