Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a man at Mopac Expressway in Austin, TX on November 24th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 4:43 a.m. According to investigators, a BMW 3 Series operated by a 22-year-old Pflugerville man was allegedly traveling the wrong way on the serves road before colliding head-on with a Volvo XC90. Reports say the driver of the Volvo, a 69-year-old Dripping Springs man who was not publicly identified, was seriously injured. Reports also say the BMW driver was uninjured and show a charge of Driving While Intoxicated was recommended and/or issued against the operator of the BMW.
