Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a person at Hwy 30 in Grimes County, TX on July 4th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 7 p.m. A Chevy Impala operated by 28-year-old Sharese Lashon Mitchell reportedly veered into oncoming traffic, according to witnesses at the scene, and collided with an SUV. The SUV was forced from the road into a ditch and the driver suffered a severe leg injury. Mitchell was arrested and charged with Intoxication Assault.
