Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at US 287 and Loop 256 in Palestine, TX on February 11th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 12:44 p.m. Police say a tractor-trailer operated by a 25-year-old Groveton was headed southwest when it began to make a right turn. Investigators say it then failed to control its speed and overturned near the exit, suffering serious injuries. Records indicate a Failure to Maintain Speed charge was issued.
