Houston Police are investigating a crash that killed a person at US 290 and North Loop in Houston, TX on June 16th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 1:38 a.m. According to investigators, a passenger vehicle is alleged to have been traveling the wrong direction before coming to a stop on a connection ramp. Once stopped, the vehicle was struck by an 18-wheeler, the impact pushing the vehicle off the on ramp and down to the roadway below.
