Houston Police are investigating a crash that killed a driver at Wilcrest Dr in Houston, TX on February 7th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 12:15 a.m. and began with a police chase. A vehicle was in pursuit by police after the occupants were allegedly observed at a gas station displaying "suspicious behavior" After losing sight of the vehicle, the vehicle is said to have collided with an unrelated vehicle and the driver of the unrelated vehicle suffered fatal injuries at the scene. Three of the four people involved in the chase were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
