What Happened

Houston Police are investigating a crash that killed a driver at I-69 in Houston, TX on November 28th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 3:30 a.m. A vehicle that is said to have allegedly been traveling at a high rate of speed lost control on the rain slicked roads before colliding with an exit sign. It then struck a light post and caught fire on impact. Officials say witnesses reportedly attempted to free the driver from the burning vehicle but were unable. The driver died at the scene.
