What Happened

Arlington Police have identified a driver in connection with a collision that killed a man at Lee Dr and West Green Oaks Blvd in Arlington, TX on January 11th, 2022. They say the incident took place just after 5 p.m. Investigators allege that a Porsche Cayenne operated by 45-year-old Priscilla Rodriguez was traveling a speed above the posted speed limit when it collided with a Honda Accord at the intersection. The Accord had been attempting a left turn at the time of the collision and the impact sent the vehicle into a pole, killing the 30-year-old driver, identified as Duy Luong Tran. A 20-year-old female passenger was hospitalized in critical condition. Witnesses say that the Porsche appeared to allegedly be racing a BMW at the time of the collision and the BWM continued driving. Rodriguez is said to be facing charges that included racing on a highway causing serious bodily injury or death.
