Authorities in Bastrop, TX, are investigating a two-vehicle collision that occurred on December 29, 2024, at approximately 11:05 a.m. on State Loop 150. According to investigators, a Dodge Ram 2500, allegedly  failed to yield the right of way while making a left turn and collided with a Ford Fiesta traveling southeast. A 25-year-old passenger in the Fiesta, identified as Dylan Carlton sustained serious injuries and was transported to a nearby medical facility, while the 25-year-old driver suffered possible injuries. The Dodge driver and a 55-year-old passenger were allegedly uninjured. Contributing factors included failure to yield the right of way. The Dodge driver was cited for the violation.
