What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that killed at least one person involved at Loop 410 and US Hwy 281 in San Antonio, TX on March 1st, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 3 a.m. According to investigators, a Hyundai Santa Cruz was rear ended by a Ford Bronco allegedly speeding. The impact is said to have caused the Hyundai to veer into a concrete barrier before overturning. The driver of the Bronco is alleged to have exited the vehicle and fled the scene on-foot. A woman in Hyundai, identified as 76-year-old Eden Nuval, was fatally injured. Authorities say the driver of the Ford, lated identified as 30-year-old Dominic Rodriguez, was later arrested in connection with the collision
