What Happened

Officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Shary Rd in Hidalgo County, TX on July 17th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 6:10 p.m. According to investigators, a BMW 228 was northbound on Sharry Rd. Headed southbound at the same time was a Toyota Camry. Reports claim the Toyota turned left and failed to yield right of way before colliding with the BMW. Reports indicate the driver of the BMW, identified as 40-year-old Edith Viveros, was seriously injured. The driver of the Toyota, who was not publicly identified, was allegedly uninjured.
