Authorities say the incident happened around 7:15 p.m. According to police, a GMC Sierra allegedly lost control while navigating a curve in the road, veering from its lane and crashing into a nearby tree. Reports say one passenger, identified as 20-year-old Eduardo Soto Salaices, was fatally injured at the scene. Three additional passengers were hospitalized with serious to non-life-threatening injuries.
