Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at FM 1697 in Lee County, TX on March 7th, 2022. Police are saying it happened around 8 p.m. Investigators say a Chevrolet Equinox operated by 38-year-old Eduardo Tellez Dominguez was previously stopped at the intersection with FM 180 when they believe the vehicle failed to yield after pulling away from the stop sign. The vehicle reportedly traveled into the path of a tractor-trailer operated by a 34-year-old Rockdale man and both vehicles collided. Dominguez suffered serious injuries while the other driver was not injured.
