Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a man at  US Hwy 96 near Jasper, TX on February 21st, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 5:30 a.m. According to investigators, 52-year-old Edward Campbell allegedly walked onto the highway from a private driveway and was struck by an SUV operated by 58-year-old Billy Rogers. Campbell suffered fatal injuries at the scene. Additional details were not available.
