What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at N Pleasant Valley Rd in Austin, TX on April 30th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 1:10 a.m. According to investigators, a motorcycle operated by 40-year-old Edward Rozum was headed northbound along with a Dodge Ram operated by 66-year-old Antonio Almaguer when it collided with the rear of the Dodge which was towing a utility trailer. Rozum was ejected from the bike and suffered serious injuries while Almaguer suffered less serious injuries. Reports indicate a DWI charge was recommended and/or issued on behalf of Rozum.
