Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Post Oak Trl in Denton, TX on August 8th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 3:30 a.m. A Honda Accord operated by 23-year-old Edward Thomas Eccles was headed southbound when it failed to control its speed at an intersection. It then crashed into a brick wall after veering from the road. Eccles suffered serious injuries and was charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
