What Happened

Houston Police are investigating a street-racing related incident that injured a driver in Houston, TX on August 19th, 2022. Police say 21-year-old Edwin Favela was operating a motorcycle after leaving work to head home before he was struck by at least one of two vehicles. The vehicles were suspected of being involved in street racing at the time and left Edwin with serious injuries that he was hospitalized for.
