Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at US 90 in Tyler, TX on April 26th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 4:28 p.m. According to investigators, a Honda sedan operated by a 63-year-old woman is alleged to have failed to control its speed before colliding with the rear of a Chevrolet Silverado at a red light. The driver of the Chevrolet, identified as 47-year-old Elaine Irwin, had injuries police say were serious in nature. The other driver had unknown injuries and officers recommended and/or issued a charge of Driving While Intoxicated.
