What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at  I-35 in McLennan County, TX on October 5th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 1:48 p.m. Investigators are saying that a tractor-trailer operated by a 42-year-old Austin man that was headed south on I-35 performed an unsafe lane change and failed to signal as it moved into the path of a Ford F-150 operated by 21-year-old Eliyah Teague. Once the vehicles collided, Teague suffered serious injuries. The Austin man was not injured and cited for Changing Lanes When Unsafe.
