Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a person at 11th St and Red River St in Austin, TX on October 3rd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 2:51 a.m. According to investigators, a Cadillac ATS operated by a 34-year-old Gonzales, TX man was headed eastbound on 11th St before losing control hitting a curb and crashing into a both a light pole and concrete wall. The collision caused serious injuries to a passenger, 39-year-old Elizabeth Martinez, and minor injuries for the driver. Officers recommended and/or issued an Intoxication Assault charge.
