What Happened

State Police are investigating a collision that injured multiple people at Business 290 in Waller County, TX on November 4th, 2021. Officials say it happened around 12:08 a.m. A Toyota Corolla operated by 22-year-old Ellanique Collins was headed westbound on Business 290 while a tractor-trailer was headed southbound on FM 359 at the intersection with 290. At it proceeded through the intersection, investigators say it was struck by the Toyota. Responding officers say both drivers claim to have each had a green light. Collins and her three passengers were all seriously injured while the truck driver was not injured. Additional details were not provided.
