Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at  Lake Cooper Rd in Archer County, TX on August 1st, 2021. Police say the crash happened around 12:05 a.m. A Dodge Ram 1500 operated by 36-year-old James McCauley was reportedly traveling at an unsafe speed on a section of road covered in gravel when it lost control and overturned. A passenger, 45-year-old Elzie Noble, suffered serious injuries. McCauley was not injured and was issued charges for Unsafe Speed and Open Container in Vehicle.
