Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a collision that injured two people at County Rd 114 near Curtis, TX on February 2nd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 8 p.m. when a Dodge SUV slowing to make a turn was struck in the rear by a Kia sedan. The SUV driver, 63-year-old Emma Carter and her passenger, 74-year-old Betty Shaw, were both hospitalized with undisclosed injuries. The Kia driver, 20-year-old Addison Causey, was reportedly uninjured and cited for Changing Lanes in Unsafe Manner.
