Police are investigating a collision that killed one person at State Hwy 225 in Houston, TX on October 19th, 2024. Officials say the incident happened around 3 a.m. Officials are saying a Jeep Cherokee headed eastbound is alleged to have been struck in the rear by a Honda Accord. Reports claim the Jeep was stopped in a moving lane of traffic, its operator, identified as 23-year-old Angel Villanueva, allegedly found to be intoxicated at the time of the collision. Police say Villanueva was hospitalized and charged with Diving While Intoxicated while the driver of the Honda, identified as Eric Flores, was fatally injured.
