What Happened

Officials have information on a crash that killed two people involved at State Hwy 56 in Fannin County, TX on November 14th, 2024. Officials are saying the incident happend around 10:45 a.m. According to investigators, a Jeep Cherokee headed westbound is alleged to have crossed into an eastbound lane, for unconfirmed reasons, before colliding head-on with a Nissan Sentra. Reports indicate the driver of the Nissan, identified as 72-year-old Eric McMillen and 72-year-old passenger, Donna McMillen, were both fatally injured. An additional, 93-year-old passenger, was hospitalized with serious injuries. Sources indicate the Jeep operator was cited for Driving on the Wrong Side of the Road in a No Passing Zone.
