What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that killed two people at US 385 near Hartley, TX on July 31st, 2024.  Authorities say the incident happened around 1:12 a.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Ram headed southbound is said to have collided head-on with a northbound Honda Civic, which had allegedly veered into a southbound lane. Authorities say the driver of the Honda, identified as 44-year-old Erica Blair and driver of the Dodge, identified as 66-year-old Glenn Ottens, were both fatally injured. Sources say a passenger in the Dodge, identified as 53-year-old Rhonda Sudduth, was hospitalized with serious injuries. Additional information was not immediately available.
