What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Valwood Pkwy in Carrollton, TX on May 19th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 12:53 p.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by a 38-year-old Euless man was stopped westbound while partially in a parking lot. The truck reversed and struck a Kia Optima traveling in the parking lot. The driver of the Kia, identified as 31-year-old Erica Shonte Shaquan Jones, suffered minor injuries in the collision. The Eueless man was not injured.
