Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a driver at FM 455 in Pilot Point, TX on August 15th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 8:10 a.m. According to investigators, a commercial truck operated by 32-year-old Erick Josue Monterroso Corado was headed westbound on FM 455 through a construction zone when the vehicle merged into a right lane at the end of a stop point. Investigators say the back wheels of the truck veered from the edge of the road and into a bar ditch. The truck overturned, leaving Corado with fatal injuries.
