Authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at I-30 in Garland, TX on August 10th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 10:14 p.m. According to investigators, a Jeep Grand Cherokee was is said to have performed a lane change, possibly while unsafe to do so, before striking a Dodge Charger. The impact is said to have caused the Jeep to travel across two lanes before colliding with a retaining wall and flipping over. Its operator, identified as 27-year-old Erik Vasquez, was seriously injured, reports say. The other driver was not publicly identified and was allegedly uninjured.
