What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials have information on a crash that injured two people at US 87 in San Angelo, TX on March 25th, 2022. They say it happened around 8:50 p.m. According to their investigation, a Ford Taurus operated by an 18-year-old San Angelo man was headed northbound when it reportedly failed to control its speed, lost control and veered from the road for unknown reasons. It then collided with a Chevrolet Silverado that was parked in a parking lot. The impact pushed the Silverado into other another parked vehicle. The driver of the Silverado, identified as 30-year-old Erin Easterling, suffered minor injuries in the collision. The San Angelo man was more seriously injured. No information was provided regarding possible charges.
