What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a man at New Laredo Hwy and Briggs Ave in San Antonio, TX on January 31st, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 5 a.m. A pickup truck headed southbound reportedly veered into oncoming traffic and collided with two other vehicles. One man, later identified as 29-year-old Ernest Gallardo Mejia, was transported to an area hospital and later died from his injuries.  Additional information was not immediately available.
