Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Dulles Ave in Sugar Land, TX on July 22nd, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 9:56 p.m. According to investigators, a Mercedes-Benz GLC was headed northbound on Dulles Ave before allegedly running a red light. From there, police say the vehicle collided with a second Mercedes-Benz GLC, which allegedly had a green turn signal. Reports indicate the first vehicle may have been driving erratically prior to the collision, which left 40-year-old Esther Ibanez with suspected non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the first vehicle, a 45-year-old Houston woman who was not publicly identified, was allegedly uninjured. Reports indicate that driver had an Intoxication Assault recommended and/or against her. Additional information was not available.
