Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at I-10 in Orange, TX on January 22nd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 5:45 a.m. A Chevrolet Silverado C1500 operated by 21-year-old Ethan Zachary Granger is accused of failing to control its speed, due to driver fatigue, and collided with the rear of a tractor-trailer. The truck, operated by a 55-year-old Gautier, MS man, was in the shoulder at the time of the collision as the driver reportedly stated seeing the Silverado traveling at a high rate of speed and pulled over to avoid a collision. Granger suffered serious injuries. Records indicate a Failure to Driving in Single Lane charge was recommended and/or issued.
