What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a person at South Padre Island Dr in Corpus Christi, TX on October 12th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 10:30 p.m. Investigators say a vehicle operated by 30-year-old Sarah Hoss was traveling the wrong direction before traveling through an intersection and colliding with a motorcycle stopped at a red light. The motorcyclist, identified as 54-year-old Eutimio "Tim" Barrera, was taken to an area hospital with injuries he later died from. Hoss was arrested on a charge of Intoxication Manslaughter.
