Authorities are investigating a crash that killed a woman at Baldwin Blvd in Corpus Christi, TX on March 8th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 1:26 a.m. Reports allege a Cadillac STS, operated by a 30-year-old Corpus Christi man who was not publicly identified, was south bound on Baldwin Blvd at the time. Officials allege the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed and, after crossing railroad tracks, began veering from the road. Police say the vehicle went over a curb and hit a light pole before sliding through chain link fence and string a nearby building. A 34-year-old woman in the vehicle, identified as Evelyn Perez, was fatally injured.
