What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials have information on a collision that killed a person at Miller Ave in Fort Worth, TX on December 25th, 2021. They say the incident happened around 4:48 a.m. A Ford Explorer headed southbound on Miller Ave is said to have crossed a double yellow line, entering into the path of a northbound GMC Sierra. Both vehicles collided head-on, killing the driver of the Sierra, identified as 27-year-old Faustino Araiza Gallegos. His passenger, 38-year-old Fernando Rico Godinez, was seriously injured. The driver of the Ford, a 17-year-old male, suffered minor injuries. Reports indicate that a charge of Intoxication Manslaughter was recommended and/or issued.
