Authorities are investigating a crash that injured multiple people at Red River St in Victoria, TX on April 29th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 9:14 p.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Durango headed westbound Rio Grande St is alleged to have run a red light at the intersection with Navarro St. The vehicle collided with a northbound Chevrolet Monte Carlo, seriously injuring 31-year-old Monte Carlo operator, Felipe Vasquez. Following the initial collision, reports say the Dodge also struck a Chevrolet Malibu, leaving its driver, 57-year-old Betty Trevino, with suspected non-life-threatening injuries. Reports say two passengers in the Monte Carlo were also seriously injured, as was the 30-year-old driver of the Dodge. That driver, who was not publicly identified, was charged with Intoxication Assault, according to sources. Additional information was not available.
