What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a one person at I-10 in Seguin, TX on July 28th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 10:11 p.m. Investigators believe a Dodge Durango operated by 32-year-old Felix De La Rosa was eastbound on I-10 before losing control for unclear reasons. The vehicle is said to have went into a spin where it slid back across a center median before stopping. Officials say De La Rosa was able to exit the vehicle and was in or near the roadway before headed was struck by an approaching Toyota Camry. The impact from the collision caused the Toyota to lose control and collide with a Ford Expedition. Police say De La Rosa was taken to an area hospital and later pronounced deceased from his injuries. Three others involved in the crash had possible injuries that were not confirmed.
