What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that killed a motorcyclist at FM 76 Socorro, TX on November 20th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 11:37 p.m. According to investigators, a motorcycle, operated by 54-year-old Felix George De Leon, was eastbound at the time. The vehicle is said to have passed to the left of a vehicle ahead before allegedly turning back into the right lane. The vehicle lost control in the process and overturned, sliding into a concrete barrier nearby and ejecting De Leon from the vehicle. De Leon was fatally injured when the vehicle fell and stuck him after falling. Additional information was not available.
