Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured multiple people at Commercial St in Aransas Pass, TX on July 30th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 8:12 p.m. A Chevrolet Tahoe operated by 24-year-old Austin Dean was traveling northbound at a high rate of speed before colliding with a Honda Pilot operated by 37-year-old Juan Castro. 36-year-old Fenelopy Castro and 44-year-old Yudis Serpas both suffered minor injuries. A 44-year-old passenger suffered serious injuries while Dean suffered minor injuries. Dean was charged with Intoxication Assault and DWI.
