Officials in Jim Wells County, TX, are investigating a crash that occurred on January 24, 2025, at approximately 7:26 p.m. on Farm-to-Market Road 624 near Anaqua Drive. According to investigators, a 2013 Cadillac SRX was traveling westbound when it allegedly attempted to pass in a no-passing zone and collided with a 2009 Infiniti G37 that was making a left turn.

Officials report that the crash resulted in suspected serious injuries to the 29-year-old female driver of the Infiniti G37 and four of her passengers, including a 12-year-old female, an 11-year-old male, a 1-year-old female, and a 3-year-old female. The 47-year-old female driver of the Cadillac SRX was reportedly uninjured but was cited for multiple offenses, including intoxication assault with a vehicle, driving on the wrong side of the road, and failure to maintain financial responsibility.
