Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured five people at I-30 and Fielder Rd in Arlington, TX on November 5th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 12:50 a.m. According to investigators, a Honda Civic was allegedly fleeing police pursuit prior to colliding with an uninvolved Kia Optima. Reports say the 17-year-old driver and an 18-year-old passenger in the Kia were seriously injured, as was the Honda operator. Reports further say a 22-year-old passenger and 20-year-old passenger in the Honda both had injuries considered to be minor in nature. Sources indicate an Intoxication Assault charge was recommended and/or issued against the operator of the Honda. Additional information was not available.
