Officials in Bastrop County, TX, are investigating a multi-vehicle crash that occurred on October 31, 2024, at approximately 9:04 p.m. on State Highway 21. According to investigators, a 2011 Ford Edge traveling west allegedly failed to control its speed and collided with a 2010 Acura TSX that was slowing for traffic. The impact pushed the Acura into a 2015 Dodge Charger traveling in the same direction. Officials report that the crash resulted in suspected serious injuries to the 34-year-old male driver of the Ford Edge and three occupants of the Acura: a 22-year-old male driver, a 20-year-old female passenger, and an infant male passenger. The 33-year-old male driver of the Dodge Charger and two of his passengers, a 36-year-old female and a 7-year-old female, were reportedly uninjured.
