What Happened

Corpus Christi Police are investigating a collision that killed a man at Hwy 359 in Corpus Christi, TX on October 23rd, 2024. Police say the incident happened just before 6:30 a.m. Officials claim a Ford F-250 was northbound before leaving its lane of travel for unclear reasons and colliding with a southbound Chevrolet Silverado. Officials say the driver of the Silverado, identified s 36-year-old Francisco Costilla, was fatally injured. Police say a 17-year-old passenger in the vehicle as well as the driver of the Ford, identified as 19-year-old Andrew Hinojosa, were hospitalized with undisclosed injuries.
