Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed one person involved at I-30 in Dallas, TX on January 15th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 10:23 p.m. According to investigators, a Kia Soul headed eastbound is said to have collided with the rear of a Dodge Ram stopped in a right center lane. Police say the vehicle was assisting another vehicle that was involved in a collision. The impact caused the Dodge to spin onto a shoulder were it struck an individual standing near the stopped vehicle. The individual, identified as 40-year-old Francisco Guevara. Guevara suffered fatal injuries in the collision. The driver of the Kia, identified as 26-year-old Centavia Hooker, had suspected non-life-threatening injuries.
