What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at FM 1138 in Collin County, TX on December 3rd, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 6:10 a.m. A Nissan Sentra operated by 34-year-old Francisco Javier Vargas Sanchez is said to have been traveling northbound around a curve on FM 118 when it slid into a southbound lane. The vehicle collided with the front left of a tractor-trailer operated by a 68-year-old Princeton man, the impact pushing the vehicle from the road into a bar ditch. Sanchez suffered serious injuries in the crash while the other driver was not injured.
