What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at  Loop 375 in El Paso, TX on October 14th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 4:32 p.m. A tractor-trailer operated by a 68-year-old Mission, TX man was reportedly headed southbound on Loop 375 as it approached a one lane fly over ramp that merges onto I-10. Investigators say the truck failed to control its speed and collided with the rear of a Jeep Wrangler operated by 57-year-old Francisco Madrid Aviles. Aviles suffered minor injuries in the collision while the Mission man was uninjured.
