Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at State Hwy 64 in Smith County, TX on April 25th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 7:55 a.m. Investigators believe a garbage truck was stopped on County Rd 212 before attempting to turn westbound onto Hwy 64. In the process, the truck is alleged to have failed to yield, colliding with a Buick Enclave operated by 69-year-old Frank Addison. Addison was killed in the collision while a passenger in the garbage truck, identified as 43-year-old Kevin Graham, had non-life-threatening injuries.
