Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a person at Cypress Rosehill Rd in Harris County, TX on April 23rd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 5:40 p.m. According to investigators, a Toyota Corolla operated by 20-year-old Melissa Nicole Smith was headed eastbound on Fenski Rd while a Toyota Camry operated by 31-year-old Jose Luis Amaya was headed northbound on Cypress Rosehill Rd. The Corolla is said to have failed to yield and collided with the Camry. The drivers were not injured. A passenger in the Camry, identified as 36-year-old Fulvia Magdalena Amaya, suffered serious injuries. Additional information was not immediately available.
