What Happened

Area authorities have information on a crash that injured at least two people at I-35 in Schertz, TX on July 1st, 2022. According to investigators, a Toyota Corolla operated by 19-year-old Joshua Bowser was exiting I-35 onto the access road at an alleged high rate of speed before colliding with the rear another Toyota Corolla operated by a 19-year-old New Braunfels man. A passenger in the vehicle,20-year0old Gabriela Cardona, was seriously injured as was the driver. Bowser was reportedly uninjured and records indicate an Intoxication Assault charge was recommended and/or issued.
